SubscribeI was talking with a friend today who wants to find a place to put down a small tree house she found. As we talked, we realized that we share some common thoughts on what feels like home with both of us feeling drawn to forest locales and natural-looking homes. She doesn’t want or need a lot of space, and her finances make it better to rent rather than buy.
We decided that it would be a good fit for both of us for me to buy something a little larger than I need and then have her rent a section for herself. That sounds like a lot of fun to me though I’m not sure right now how that will work so that both of us can build on the land and retain the ownership of our items. I believe it will involve setting up a group to own the land, so that’s something I’ll need to investigate in more detail.
The thought of sharing with a friend makes the idea of owning land seem that much more interesting for some reason. We’ll both be looking for something that suits us so that I don’t end up with yet another beach house that sits empty except for me popping in to change my clothes or to get away from the crowds.
Good luck finding a decent piece of land Brandy, we have a beach theme sim my husband and I, but we’re actually making plans to turn it into a more country theme sim. He’s excited about spending christmas together here, as well as being able to cuddle by a nice fireplace while we watch the snow from our window.
Should be very exciting to see, although very tiring as I just finished decorating our sim and now we’re starting over hehe.
