I used to wear wings a lot, and then gradually I boxed up many of them and wore them just for photos now and then. Lately I’ve felt like I’ve forgotten some of the fun and whimsy that took up my early days in SL, so I turned to my wings again. That along with a bit of exploring has brought back some of the spark I was missing. These woodland fairy wings from Seven’s Selections are beautiful in their coloring and one of my favorites.

The wings demanded more blue, so I obliged with matching hair, skin, and dress. This blueberry texture from Exile is one I don’t wear a lot yet it’s one of my favorites with its layers of blues and subtle purples. The skin is from Frick and is actually a wearable demo of her newest release, which I think is a great idea. The Fable gown from Evie’s Closet is appropriately named for this look, and I thought the short version suited my fairy self quite well.

Helping me out in the whimsy department is this adorable “Faery in a Bubble” pose prop from Studio Sidhe. It comes with 3 different poses, and there are other bubble props that come with two-person poses.
